We are a small team of experienced developers and CRM experts. We've been involved in integrations and migrations for quite a while and seen how things are handled by consultancy firms, developers and Enterprise integration teams.

A lot companies simple write code, often with libraries and frameworks if they do a lot of integration work. Others use ETL tools or platforms like Make.com.

Why we built Ziggy

We built Ziggy from our own experiences working on large-scale, complex migration and integration projects.

We have worked in environments where the wheel is reinvented regularly or where the early promise of no-code/low-code platforms has disappointed in terms of speed of development, incremental cost, security and extensibility.

As we saw it, our aim was to right these wrongs.

Who we focus on

We believe that Systems Integrators are either developers, or they have a solid technical understanding when it comes to data. We focus squarely on these types of users.

As a result, Ziggy does not stray far from the way they naturally think.

Glass ceilings

Other platforms, especially low-code or no-code platforms, promise a lot. Sooner or later, however, you will hit your head on a glass ceiling.

There is usually at least one thing that lets you down.

• Security dictates that you deploy to your own server but the platform you're using doesn't let you.
• Third party platforms try to satisfy everyone, including only mildly technical users. This makes the building of complex scenarios messy.
• Most third party products or platforms make it impossible or very complex to freely extend their capabilities.
• At scale, third party platforms can quickly become expensive by which time you're locked in.

How we solved these issues

We solved these issues by ensuring that all of the above issues can be addressed by the users themselves.

If users do not want to extend the system themselves, then our services team will do it for them, improving the product in the process.

The user has the option of working directly with the source code. This allows them to build new Blocks, extend other functionality, or simply have the peace of mind that nothing is beyond their control.
